America is facing an epidemic of overweight, undernourished children. Our on-the-go, busy lifestyles persuade Americans to feed their children processed, refined and treated foods that provide virtually no nutrition to their bodies. These empty calories leave their growing bodies starved and craving nutrition. Unfortunately, most of time they are being fed more empty calories. The consequences we are seeing are staggering.

Holly Beitel, a wellness and nutrition specialist, comments on these consequences, "Children are now suffering from diseases that were once thought to only plague adults such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, arthritis, and type 2 diabetes. Blood sugar levels spike and crash contributing to behavior, concentration and learning problems. Nutrient deficiencies are playing a part in the rise of immune system diseases and other chronic illnesses on the rise today. And, we can't overlook the emotional problems suffered from the stigma many times attached to being overweight."

The long-term answer requires a complete revamping of the American mindset with regard to eating and lifestyle habits. In the short term, the recommendation of nutritional supplementation is paramount. Children's bodies are literally starving for proper nutrition. Supplementation brings certain challenges though. Many, if not most, children cannot swallow pills. Those that can won’t because of the bad taste and smell of most quality supplements. Add the fact that it is inconvenient to stop and take supplements when you are running out the door and have your hands full, and most parents are unsuccessful at even this modest attempt to improve their children's health.

With these concerns and obstacles in mind, a new delivery system for nutrients has been developed and recently released. This breakthrough technology is called suspension gel technology. You and your children can now obtain the vital nutrients your bodies need in a convenient, easy to consume, great tasting gel pack. They can be consumed anytime, anywhere with ease. The efficacy of these nutritional supplements, due to suspension gel technology, is significantly increased due to the improved timing of ingestion, quantity of each nutritional supplement and bioavailability of the nutrients. Holly Beitel offers extensive information regarding this revolutionary nutritional supplementation option for concerned consumers and parents.
