SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – Penmac Personnel Services, Inc. has been named one of the Top 25 Women Business Enterprises in the nation as recognized by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). This is the first year Penmac has received the honor.

In order to achieve this recognition, a company must be certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise. This national certification indicates a company is 51% or more owned operated, and controlled by a female.

The Top 25 Women Business Enterprises are chosen on specific criteria. The WBENC cited Penmac’s revenue, rapid recent growth within the business, and owner Patti Penny’s outstanding involvement in the community as reason for the selection.

“As a WBE, I am proud to be able to continue to expand Penmac, offer more flexibility and services for our clients and more opportunities for our associates,” Penny said. “We are committed to continuing to provide the best services for our clients and associates.”
