EVENT HOSTED BY BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF METRO ATLANTA AND THE HBCU NETWORK
WHAT: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (BBBS) and The HBCU Network are hosting the HBCU Network Bowl for Kids’ Sake Challenge, featuring emcee Doug Stewart of 2 Live Stews and 790 the Zone. Bowl for Kids’ Sake is the agency’s 2nd largest fundraiser.
WHO: College organizations, sororities, fraternities and other social groups will participate in friendly competition to raise funds for BBBS.
WHY: BBBS provides meaningful one-to-one friendships between children and caring, well-trained volunteers. Kids with a “Big Brother” or “Big Sister” are 53 percent less likely to skip school and 37 percent less likely to skip a class than their peers without a Big Brother or Big Sister.
WHEN: Saturday, November 11, 2006 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
WHERE: 300 Atlanta AMF Lanes

REGISTER: Registration is open to alumni associations, Greek organizations, offices and other groups. All teams must consist of six (6) bowlers and each team will raise a minimum of $2500. Proceeds will benefit BBBS of Metro Atlanta and support its mission to create magic in the lives of hundreds of children.
