Pewaukee, WI – Local designer Nancy Kugel of EnGee-Kay Designs is sharing two of her most opulent designs on DIY (Do It Yourself) Network’s Jewelry Making in time for the holidays.

On November 17 and December 18 and 23, 2006, DIY’s Jewelry Making host Jackie Guerra will show two of Kugel’s elegant and dazzling designs to inspire creative gift giving. “My designs can be economical or expensive. Consumers can play with the costs, depending on how they want to interpret the design,” says Kugel.

For those who enjoy beading, Kugel also provides instruction for those who want to duplicate her designs. “Jewelry Making provides a variety of projects for a range of Do It Yourselfers. One of things we’ve tried to do is challenge our viewers to do a lot of different things that they have never done before,” says Gary McCormick, Director of Public Relations for Scripps Emerging Networks’ two cable channels, DIY Network and Fine Living.

EnGee-Kay Designs trail-blazes self-expression by providing jewelry that serves as an extension of the individual’s personality. With custom couture and freedom of expression being the current trend, i.e. Jackie Rogers, MySpace and custom made wristbands; EnGee-Kay Designs proves to be no exception. Her creations connect people with who they are, when they were born and what they love. “I pay attention to what my customers wear and how they project themselves,” says Kugel.

Special patronage, inimitable designs and expansive panache are what separate EnGee-Kay from other designers. “My designs are sophisticatedly playful as well as diverse,” says Kugel. “On one hand, I have an organic style that features earth tones and textures. On the other hand, I have designs that are very elegant and sophisticated.”

Kugel’s vast artistic visions attribute to her broad range of style. Kugel often explores a variety of artistic outlets, familiarizing herself with various mediums that include metal, fiber, glass and paint. Inspirations from such areas as architecture, décor, fashions and art forms throughout the United States, Canada, islands of the Caribbean and Europe are seen in Kugel’s work, which is influenced by her love for impressionism, aboriginal folk art, pop art and more.
