Veridiam Completes Acquisition of Advanced EDM Automation; Expanding Custom Manufacturing Solutions for Aerospace, Power Generation, and Industrial Markets

VERIDIAM, a leading provider of welded and drawn tubing; metal and tubular components; and assemblies specifically fabricated to meet the demanding requirements of aerospace, nuclear power, medical and industrial applications, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of ADVANCED EDM AUTOMATION, Inc. of Poway, California. ADVANCED EDM AUTOMATION, a provider of precision metal fabrication and electrical discharge machining (EDM) capabilities, complements Veridiam's strategic integrated manufacturing initiative.

The move unites two of industry's most innovative and technologically advanced providers offering precision highly specialized metal tube and EDM/CNC machining capabilities. "Companies continue to push the limits of materials and manufacturing technologies in order to make their products last longer, work more efficiently or operate under extreme conditions" said Neal Nordstrom, Chief Executive Officer of Veridiam. "Veridiam and Advanced EDM have positioned themselves at the forefront of this trend, and together we will build on our combined strength to help improve our customers' products."

Both companies are integrating their operations, networks and customer care organizations to ensure a smooth transition and provide immediate value for their customers. Mr. Turoff will now serve as Director of Technology.
