CHERRY EXPANDS RC SERIES KEYBOARD LINE FOR GROCERY AND C-STORE APPLICATIONS

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI – Cherry Electrical Products has expanded its RC Series keyboard line to further meet the specific needs of grocery and convenience store applications. Cherry’s new RC Series keyboards are available in 80 key (RC80) and 128 key (RC128) configurations and feature customizable color keycaps, allowing for easy visual recognition of common functions which reduces transaction time and helps to train new employees.

All RC Series keyboards offer plug-and-play upon configuration for all common POS features and come with Cherry’s RC programming software for functional enhancements, configuration and quick product set-up. They offer multiple layer programming for all 80 or 128 relegendable and programmable keys. They also feature Cherry’s MX mechanical keyswitches with Gold Crosspoint contacts to withstand harsh environments and ensure a long product life in 24/7 applications.

Cherry’s RC80 Series keyboards are available with or without a magnetic stripe reader (MSR) and keylock and have a compact 12.91” x 6.50” x 2.09” footprint. RC128 Series keyboards are available with or without MSR and measure 12.68” x 8.27” x 1.77” (without MSR) or 14.49” x 8.27” x 1.77” (with MSR).
