Palm Springs, Calif. — DigitalPulp Publishing (DPP) is pleased to announce their four new imprints: PulpBytes, ByteZines, ByteSize Pieces and Byte it Press. DPP is also establishing an online bookstore that will offer e-books and MP3 audio books for download.

“On June 1st, we will begin offering books for download in e-book and MP3 formats,” says Genene Miller-Coté, co-founder and president of DigitalPulp Publishing, based in Palm Springs, California.

DigitalPulp Publishing publishes and distributes literature and fiction for the digital age. DPP delivers books for all popular digital formats: PDAs (Pocket PC/Palm), MP3 players, e-book readers, cell phones and computers.

Miller-Coté states, “We have made a real commitment to digital publishing. Since traditional routes to publication are time-consuming and print-on-demand is expensive, the burgeoning trend of initial publishing in e-book format gives authors more opportunities and readers more options.”

Miller-Coté and her husband, author David Coté, were pioneers in the CD publication market. With more than seventy years of combined business experience, this dynamic pair brings a unique understanding of intellectual property and technology to their new venture. Mr. Coté adds “We are creating, building, and promoting a new platform for writers and visual artists.”

The DPP imprints are:

—PulpBytes: pulp fiction for the digital age. Genre fiction include romance, science fiction, fantasy, horror, mystery, and detective stories. Compelling reading to thrill and amaze.

—ByteZines: electronic magazines, including EDBytes for educators and life log learners and RescueBytes for first responders (police, firefighters, paramedics and EMTs). All ByteZine ezines pay contributors and make quarterly donations to charitable causes.

—ByteSize Pieces: Literature aimed at young readers: toddlers, children and young adults. Publishes fiction, non-fiction, poetry, educational information and coloring books.

—Byte-it Press: literary fiction, poetry and non fiction from all types of authors, many of whom are overlooked in the traditional markets. The first title, “Books Without Boundries” will be available in May, 2005.

DigitalPulp is actively searching for new authors and is taking submissions.
