ArcaMax Publishing Gets a New Look

ArcaMax Publishing, a leading source of free family-friendly news and entertainment, has launched a new home page design for their popular Web site and e-mail newsletters.

The new home page, http://www.arcamax.com, serves as a better summary and guide to ArcaMax's content categories — Funnies, News Headlines, Lifestyles, Games and Classic Books. Regular subscribers to the e-mail newsletters (or "ezines") are also enjoying the new, streamlined design.

"We've been working on these designs for several months, and we're happy to finally be able to show off the new look to our readers," said ArcaMax Managing Editor Hugh Spain. "We have lots of great content, and we're showcasing it in a way that's more eyecatching and convenient than before."

Long-time readers have already been taking advantage of ArcaMax's 60 free ezines and content channels, featuring games, a recipe database, health tips, and more than 700 free classic books by e-mail. The new front page design offers a handy index to all these features, as well as current headlines so visitors can find what they're looking for right away. A daily almanac includes trivia, a word of the day, famous historical events, and more. Current headlines and featured content appear prominently at the top of the page.

Special seasonal content is available, too — holiday tips, such as the current Thanksgiving guide ( http://www.arcamax.com/recipes/s-127435-321049 ), are within easy reach. Visitors will also see the ArcaMax Book Club's top titles, available free by e-mail, and links to popular daily comic strips such as "Garfield" and "Family Circus."

"Our features are informative and entertaining, and sometimes have large followings. We want returning and new readers to easily know what might interest them at our site," Spain added.

ArcaMax Publishing's dozens of ezines, including parenting advice, travel destinations, and free games and puzzles, are available with a free subscription. For more information, visit http://www.arcamax.com/cgi-bin/reg .
