Claims professionals, Mary L. Mapp and Bunny L. Askew join Smith – Moody Risk Consulting
Ms. Mapp has held regional and national management positions with several of the nation’s largest insurance companies as well as claims management positions with local firms. She established her firm, Exxcel Insurance Professionals, Inc., which provided claims consulting services and staffing to self-insurers and insurance companies.
Ms. Askew has personally administered casualty, health, and disability claims as well as managing entire claims offices. She has established and managed claims administration operations for workers’ compensation self-administrators. Her experience includes setting up claims operations for a regional insurance broker, managing a large staff in three offices. Her most recent experience was as a client service manager for one of the nation’s largest independent claims management firms.
