SmartCreditChoices.com Expands Credit Card Education Center

November 21, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
SmartCreditChoices.com (http://www.SmartCreditChoices.com), an online directory of credit card applications, has recently expanded its Education Center to include articles focusing on store credit cards. With the holiday season approaching, consumers will soon be flooded with offers from major retailers both in the mail and, more prominently, at the store. However, there are substantial differences between store issued credit cards and standard credit cards.

In its new series of articles, SmartCreditChoices.com compares the general differences between store credit cards and general credit cards. Consumers planning to use store issued credit cards can learn about the substantial differences in interest rates, rewards programs, and 0% introductory offers that exist between these two types of credit cards.

The findings of our research proved quite startling. The articles ultimately provide guidance on how consumers can save hundreds, and in the case of large purchases, thousands of dollars in interest.

Additionally, SmartCreditChoices.com delved into and will continue to expand information on particular store credit cards. In one of our recently published article, we found an option that could save consumers over $1000 on a $5000 purchase.

SmartCreditChoices.com is committed to providing consumers with the information they need to make informed credit card decisions and we expect the recent addition of three new credit card articles to prove very useful to holiday shoppers.
