Surfer Baby Gets On Board With Extreme Makeover Home Edition

(PRLEAP.COM) San Diego, November 17, 2006: Surfer Baby, of San Diego is stoked to be invited to participate in an episode of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" which airs Sunday, December 10th, 8-10 pm ET/PT. Surfer Baby provided its cool signature surf-inspired baby and kids gear to a Southern California household being completely renovated by Ty Pennington and his Extreme Makeover team of designers and craftsmen.

Surfer Baby, who’s slogan is "You’re never too young to be cool," has offered cool surf inspired apparel, feeding supplies, blankets, pillows, travel accessories, home furnishings and more to babies and children since 2002. Owner Alan Chalom, has taken his love of surf and channeled it into his love of his new family, creating Surfer Baby’s signature surfboard shaped bibs and burp cloths and other unique items.

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," has won back-to-back Emmy Awards as Best Reality Program (non-competitive). Surfer Baby is proud to be a part of the makeover process, with Chalom pitching in to do construction and set-up work beyond his product donation. "After dropping off the Surfer Baby gear, we grabbed hard hats and pitched in where ever we could. I got so caught up in the excitement of this great project, the next thing I knew we had worked through the whole night."
