ICTNS Web Sites Now Hosting In-House, In Northern Michigan

Petoskey, Mich. – ICTNS continues its pioneering in the information technology industry by moving its Web hosting services in-house, previously held at a hosting company out of state.

The biggest advantage in having their client’s Web sites hosted in northern Michigan echoes ICTNS’ passion to ‘buy local’. “We strongly believe in buying products and services locally, outsourcing anything to another state or country means money is leaving

northern Michigan” said Michael Paulus, ICTNS' President. Paulus went on to explain that other advantages include ICTNS’ quicker access to their clients’ Web sites and the control of the server’s uptime, something Paulus and ICTNS take very seriously.

To host clients' Web sites in-house, ICTNS purchased a state-of-the-art Dell PowerEdge Web server, upgraded their connection to the Internet and purchased equipment to backup the data and keep the server running in the event of a power failure. ICTNS' clients did not see an increase in monthly fees to offset the cost and Paulus said he does not intend to do so.

“It might be a good idea to find out where your Web site is located. It could be in another state or even outsourced overseas in another country.” said Paulus. ICTNS’ clients now have the satisfaction of their Web site living in northern Michigan, where Paulus believes it belongs.

ICTNS is an information technology company formed in 2004.

It provides northern Michigan with Web development, Web hosting and e-mail, search engine optimization, software development,

databases and networking support from an experienced Microsoft Certified staff.
