Atelier Software has released Fanurio, a Windows time tracking and billing application designed for freelancers. With Fanurio you can easily organize your work, track time and create invoices.

Everytime you sign a contract, just add a new client to the application and create a project. During the project, you can add project items and expenses to account for your work. You can decide anytime if an item is billable or not and if it should be billed using an hourly rate or a flat rate. Billable items can be added later to an invoice.

To create an invoice, you don't have to wait for the completion of the project. Partial invoices can be created anytime during a project. And you can invoice multiple projects too. Invoices are generated to a text or html file using an invoice template. The template can be customized to take on the look you want.

The time spent on each item can be recorded using a timer or it can be entered manually. To make the time tracking more accuate, Fanurio can detect if you leave the computer and forget the timer on. When you come back, it will ask you if the idle time should be considered.

Data can be exported to a CSV file and the application integrates with the Windows tray bar.

Fanurio costs $39 and it is available from http://www.fanuriotimetracking.com . You can download a fully-functional trial version from http://www.fanuriotimetracking.com/download.html .
