Championship Wrestling Experience Selects Ideas Squared for Branding & Marketing

Ideas Squared is proud to announce that Championship Wrestling Experience (CWE) has selected our agency to create their territory brand, website, and marketing program.

"The CWE will emerge as one of the country's premier sports entertainment businesses and Charlotte, NC, is the perfect platform for them to re-launch a professional wrestling territory," said Ideas Squared Jay Joyce. "The ownership has extensive experience in professional wrestling, sports entertainment and sports marketing."

"Our first assignment was to research and establish the CWE brand," said Joyce. "The CWE ownership wanted to focus the brand on the traditional values and spirit of professional wrestling back from the 1980's."

The CWE brand uses strong, traditional sports marketing colors of red, white and black, which represents stability, legacy, strength, action, and integrity. The use of capital letters in CWE will quickly build brand recognition and easy identification for fans and eventual sponsors.

"The CWE website will launch January 1, 2007, and will feature profiles of their wrestling megastars and personalities," added Joyce. "The new site will also enable fans to purchase advance tickets to events, join a Fanz Club, buy CWE merchandise, interact through a Fan Blog, and watch CWE live matches through CWE-TV online."

The CWE's first live event will be March 17, 2007, at the famed Mulberry Recreation Center in Lenoir, NC. This area is a famous hotbed for professional wrestling and developing some the country's most-famous professional wrestlers.

"The CWE will be a positive source for family-friendly entertainment driven by the traditional spirit of professional wrestling," said Joyce. "Their talent and wrestling megastars will not use any profanity, character defamation or sexual innuendo as part of their matches or personality traits."
