The Jointure’s goal for the travel program is to provide choices and opportunities that will appeal to a wide variety of interests by providing a full array of destination packages. Trips range from single day excursions, to a 5-day walking tour of New York City’s historic Hudson Valley, to a 22-day tour of Australia’s sophisticated cities and beautiful landscape.

“Travel is one of the most enriching experiences a person can have,” said Marilynn Medican, Executive Director of The Jointure. “At The Jointure, we believe in providing the greater Somerset County community with the widest range of educational and enrichment opportunities, and our new travel program is one more way we can accomplish that.”

All tours offered by The Jointure are competitively priced with automatic notification of upgrades. Additionally, some trips also include an AARP member discount. All travel options are open to anyone regardless of county of residence.

The Jointure will conduct informative travel planning sessions. Those interested in a cruise can get information and answers to all of their questions on Tuesday, November 28 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School.

For information on escorted vacations, interested parties can attend an information session on Thursday, November 30 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School. Passport forms will be available at both sessions.

Many of The Jointure excursions and vacations will fill up and sell out, so early registration is recommended. For a copy of The Jointure’s travel guide, or to register for a trip, call The Jointure at (908) 722-0233. For a sneak peak at the trips visit: www.jointure.org.
