Ultra pure, low-cost Ryanodine launched by Ascent Scientific – helping research into heart disease

Ascent Scientific (www.ascentscientific.com) announced the addition of ultra-pure Ryanodine to the Low-Cost Ligand™ range. Ryanodine is a standard tool, widely used by scientists for research into muscle physiology, signalling and heart disease.

Ascent Scientific have introduced Ryanodine at ultra high purity (>99%) and at prices around 50% less than many other suppliers. Ryanodine is the latest addition to the Low-Cost Ligand™ signalling range which also includes CGP 37157, ODQ and rolipram.

Iain Sandison Science Director commented, “We have received many requests from life scientists for a low-cost supply of Ryanodine. In response, we have introduced Ryanodine at a purity of greater than 99%, but around half the price of other suppliers. We are committed to progressing research by making high quality tools at affordable prices.”
