Elegus.com Announces Launch: Search Any US Federal or State Website.

Elegus Corporation has announced the launch of Elegus.com. Elegus.com enables user to search the content of almost any US Federal or State government website from one convenient location.

Users are able to select from a comprehensive list of US government websites. This list includes nearly every domain and even sub-domain within the Federal system, as well as all State government portals, judiciary and legislature websites. Elegus.com also groups websites into custom combinations, so users can search across multiple websites from the same office, department, state, or subject heading (like "All Federal Courts") with just a single click.

Leveraging the power of commercial search engine technology, Elegus' patent pending system automatically sends search instructions tailored to the selected website or group. Results are displayed in the user's choice of an easy-to-use viewer or separate window. Elegus.com also features insta-send(TM), which searches immediately upon website or group selection, so users don’t even need to click the search button (although it's there if you still want to use it). A direct link to each website is also included.

Elegus.com is designed and built by Adam Piacente. Piacente previously built LegalTrek.com, gathering over 40,000 links to government and other law-related web sites. Piacente is also author of 'Computer-Assisted Legal Research Unplugged: The User-Friendly Guide to Lexis-Nexis & Westlaw', and 'lexis.com unplugged: the user-friendly guide to lexis.com' (published in association with Lexis Publishing).

"I built Elegus.com to target specific government websites and groups without having to wade through pages of irrelevant, global search results," Piacente said, "and I am amazed at just how fast and easy searching has become.

"There is such a vast amount of valuable government and legal information available now on the Internet. Elegus.com is a cost-effective solution that helps you quickly find what you need."
