Utah Business Man Hits the Big Time

December 01, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Not every Provo Boy ends up with a feature in Business Week, but Cammon Randle of Provo, founder and co-owner of CopperRain Productions, finds himself honored in both BusinessWeek.com and in the printed magazine, which hit the stands nationwide. He has been included in Business Week’s much touted Top 25 Entrepreneurs under the age of 25, another evidence that Utah is gaining in circles of national attention.

“I guess this just shows that when you follow your passion, things happen,” states Cammon Randle. “We love what we do, and it’s nice to get a chance to shine.”

Randle actually started his business in his teens, taking a breather for BYU’s School of Communications and a couple of years in England. “I was interested in a lot of things when I was a kid,” Randle says, “but the first time I got a camera in my hands, it was definitely love.” He graduated from the university two years ago, and with his wife, Lorri Randle, who has a background in broadcast journalism and video sports production, picked up where he left off with CopperRain.

The company’s focus has been corporate clients’ need for both promotional and educational materials. The Randles specialize in educating businesses and marketing teams about the effectiveness of internet video in reaching and motivating a wider audience. “It’s great to build a life around what you love and believe in,” Randle says.
