The Indian Mineral pitch supplement for anti -aging could be the Elixir of Life

(PRLEAP.COM) Aging is one of the bitter facts of life which leaves none however mighty, healthy or wealthy. But aging is not inevitable. Indian Yogis had always known of certain Elixir from Himalayan Mountains known as Shilajit which could go a long way in arresting and reversing the aging process. In Sanskrit the literal meaning of Shilajit is " Rock Like " - the power to make our body like a rock enabling it to withstand the ravages of time. Shilajit has that unmatched powers of arresting and reversing the aging process.

Body needs Minerals more than anything else if we have to arrest the natural aging process and stay young for a very long time. Minerals act as catalysts for metabolic reactions and biological functions within the body cells and are required for the assimilation of all vitamins. The aging process involves the action of highly reactive free radicals which interact with other cellular compounds and produce oxidative damages. This eventually kills cells, shrinks tissues and impairs the immune function of the organism.

Electrical Potency of the Cell is the single most aspect of body cell's survival. Along with age the electrical potential of the cells continuously decreases leading to weakness and decreased potential of body cells. Decrease in Electrical potential of the cells brings about decrease in Energy Metabolism. Ultimately when the electrical potential of the Cells become Zero the cell disintegrates and dies.
Wrinkles on skin, thinning hair ,receding hemlines ,tendency to put on more weight despite of consuming less food, decreasing energy & stamina, decrease in levels of sexual life , susceptibility to various ailments are the signs that mean that aging process is setting in our body and our Energy Metabolism process is slowing down.
The only way to restore the electrical potential of the cells, prevent their disintegration and arrest the aging process is to ensure that the cells are supplied with sufficient amount of minerals. This may sounds fairly simple as we merely have to consume the myriad types of minerals available Over the counter in any store. This is what Americans have been doing in a big way. But it does not work as easy as it may sound. The latest survey shows that as much as 97% of Americans are deficient in Minerals. Almost all above 35 years of age are Mineral deficient .

The minerals that we get over the counter are in Colloidal form. Body cells can never absorb the minerals in colloidal form. They have to be first converted into Ionic form. The colloidal minerals are converted into ionic form by the Hydrochloric acid in our stomach and then are absorbed by the body cells. This process of colloidal to ionic mineral conversion is never complete and more so as we age. The unconverted colloidal minerals end up harming the body organs in the long run.

Vegetables, plants, eggs, milk, meat products have minerals in Ionic form and they are readily absorbed by the body. But in these days of Chemical farming there is considerable degree of damage done to the minerals in these products. This renders these minerals incapable of being absorbed completely. Moreover all the minerals may not be found in a single product. Vegetables and fruits have high levels of Ionic Potassium and Phosphorous. Eggs have ionic calcium. Moreover a large amount of various types of plants, fruits ,vegetables ,meat, eggs etc. in raw uncooked form have to be consumed to get sufficient amount of minerals. Processed milk, boiled vegetables, cooked meat will not be helpful as the cooking process damages the ionic nature of minerals. This as we know is humanely impossible.

Intake of minerals in ionic form is only half the work done. The body cells will no doubt absorb the ionic minerals and maintain their energy metabolism and electric potential but there is a major barrier in cell walls . The ionic minerals have to pass through the cell walls. Cell walls become thicker in size with age and it prevents the entry of minerals inside cell.

SHILAJIT is a concentrated historic plant life from Himalayan region. The Himalayan region encompassing India, China, Tibet and parts of central Asia was home to rich plant life right from prehistoric times. The plants there absorbed various minerals from soil to form rich and green vegetation. The life of trees and plants there extended to many hundred and even thousands of years. After their time the plants returned back to earth along with the minerals. This process continued over a period of many centuries .This remains of plant life in the sub zero climatic conditions and altitude of Himalayas formed the Mineral Pitch known as SHILAJIT
Shilajit contains all essential minerals in Ionic form and a mineral acid known as Fulvic Acid .

Shilajit has 85 minerals in Ionic form which are readily absorbed by body cells . Fulvic acid - the orehr major constituent of Shilajit dilates and softens the thick cell walls so that the absorption of minerals are complete .

Shilajit was first discovered in Modern times by British Explorer Sir Martin Edward Stanley during 1870 when India and Nepal were part of British Empire.
Most of the monkeys in plains of Northern India age and bald by the time they reach 10 years of age. Sir Edward Stanley on his exploration in higher altitude of Himalayas to his surprise found there were hardly any monkeys with aged look in his months of expedition. He subsequently observed that monkeys there regularly ate something from earth near the rocks. That was a odd behavior as monkeys do not eat anything from earth. He observed that the monkeys ate a blackish mineral pitch oozing near the rocks. The locals there called it "silajitu"
Only some Indian Yogis there knew how to treat and purify silajitu and it was offered to very select people there. This has special mention in his book.

Shilajit has extensive mention in ancient Hindu literature. An elderly Indian King wanted to enjoy natural pleasures of life and prayed to Lord Shiva considered prime among Hindu Pantheon and originator of Yoga. Lord Shiva was pleased with his prayer and offered him a substance originating from his body. That restored the King’s youthfulness
There is also extensive mention of Shilajit as a powerful aphrodisiac and restorer of Youthfulness in The Kama Sutra - the most widely read treatise on sex.

The powerful anti aging properties of Shilajit have been proven by many modern scientific studies
According to United States Patent number 5,405,613 (http:/ ) "The present inventor has found that Shilajit over and above its nutritional and herbal content has novel energetic properties. Measurement of subtle energy changes indicate that Shilajit has a vibratory field that is substantially stronger than any vitamin, mineral, food substance or herb.
The present inventor has also surprisingly found that when a small amount of Shilajit is added to a vitamin or mineral preparation, the energetic properties of the vitamin or mineral preparation are enhanced”

According to United States Patent number 6,440,436

Aging and its associated problems are degenerative diseases. Alzheimer's, cardiovascular, arthritis, cancer and hundreds of other diseases set in with age.
"Native shilajit is a blackish-brown exudation, of variable consistencies, obtained from steep rocks of different formations found in the Himalayas at altitudes between 1000-5000 m,.Shilajit also is found in other mountain ranges of the world, e.g. Afganisthan (Hindukush, Badakh-Shan), Australia (Northern Pollock Ranges), and in the former USSR (Tien-Shan, Pamir, Caucasus, Ural). Native shilajit is believed to arrest aging and also produce rejuvenation"
According to Paul Flechsig Institute Brain Res., Department of Neurochemistry, University of Leipzig, D-04109 Leipzig , Germany “Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases are brain degenerative diseases which strike elderly. Research by has shown that Shilajit is very powerful in enhancing Cognition and Memory in Alzheimer's Patients.

One can surely expect wonderful results with Shilajit.
