ATLANTA – December 4, 2006 – Inviro Medical Devices (www.inviromedical.com), a leading manufacturer of infection control products, including the innovative InviroSNAP!® Safety Syringe, will demonstrate its Inviro Safety System at the 41st American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition. The ASHP meeting is scheduled December 3-7, 2006, in Anaheim, California.

Pharmacists and other attendees are invited to visit Booth 3246 to speak with Gareth Clarke, chief executive officer of Inviro Medical Devices, and to participate in demonstrations of the company’s fixed and exchangeable needle systems. Booth activities will showcase the patented InviroSNAP! Fixed Needle Safety Syringe and the InviroSNAP Exchangeable Combinations, which include the InviroLINK Vial Access Plastic Cannula and the InviroSTRIPE syringe with the patented “write-on” stripe. The syringes are available in a range of sizes from 1 to 5 ml (up to 10 ml for the exchangeable system and 60ml for the InviroSTRIPE Luer Lock Syringes). Unlike most safety syringes that are retro-fitted with add-on pieces, the safety feature is integral to the design, enhancing infection control and protection from needlestick injuries.

“We are eager to introduce attendees of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists to the Inviro Safety System and its flagship infection control product, the InviroSNAP! Safety Syringe,” said Clarke. “This medical device creates a significant new segment – manually retractable technology – in the safety syringe market. It is cost effective and easy to use for pharmacists filling syringes, as well as for use by nurses.” During the ASHP meeting, Clarke will be interviewed by Pharmacy Purchasing and Products magazine.
