MediNotes receives "Most Promising Emerging Company" award

In a ceremony held on March 23 at the new DMACC West Campus, SITI (Software and Information Technology of Iowa) celebrated the best and brightest Iowa technology companies. MediNotes Corporation, an Iowa-based electronic health records company, was selected as the “Most Promising Emerging Company” due to the incredible growth that MediNotes has sustained over the past 3 years and the precise and passionate vision shared by the management and staff.

Don Schoen, founder and CEO of MediNotes, expressed gratitude to his management team for believing in his vision and connecting with the employees to instill passion and dedication to the company. Don also discussed the competitive advantage of the being located in Iowa and taking advantage of the “strong Iowa work ethic”.

Present were many notable Iowa-based software and technology companies (Dice, Spindustry, LightEdge) and several legislators who are working to create better incentives to grow the technology business sector in Iowa.
