Billie Redmond Named To Legacy Of Champions Hall Of Fame
Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties President Honored By Foundation Offering Opportunities For Minority Women

RALEIGH, N.C. – Billie Redmond, president of Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties, was named a Hall of Fame member of the Legacy of Champions Foundation at a black tie gala on Dec. 2 at the Sheraton Downtown in Raleigh. The foundation is devoted to improve opportunities for young minority women. Redmond was honored for her leadership in a traditionally male-dominated field, her history of community service and her entrepreneurial spirit.

“I am honored to be recognized by an organization that considers me a role model and a trailblazer,” said Redmond. “Throughout my life I have possessed an intense desire to support minority women and address the challenges they face. This honor affirms my dedication to this belief, and I am grateful that the Legacy of Champions Foundation believes I am worthy of inclusion in its Hall of Fame.”

About the Legacy of Champions Foundation:
The Legacy of Champions Foundation was established in 2006 by Jacques Curtis, the women’s basketball head coach at Shaw University in Raleigh, N.C. It is designed to provide structured programs of opportunity that will focus on athletic, educational, health and social development of female participants as well as community-based organizations in North Carolina and beyond. Curtis founded the nonprofit organization to inspire dreams in America’s young women because he believes in passing on the values that he received from his parents and teachers.
