OPEN BOOK PRESS, SMASH! COMICS ANNOUNCE THEIR 2005 CONVENTION SCHEDULE

(PRLEAP.COM) Bayville, New Jersey, USA/Tiverton, ON, Canada, March 28th, 2005 – Open Book Press, and it’s comics imprint SMASH! Comics have announced their 2005 trade show and convention schedule.

Fans, self-publishers, and comics pros alike have been tentatively waiting for this news thanks to the buzz being cause by the companies controversial fan hits such as Monkeys & Midgets a graphic novel about vertically challenged wrestlers battling apes, Dreams In Texture – a graphic anthology of horror and fantasy, Grafenveer the tale of an African slave saved and raised by a medieval king, and How To Get Published The Open Book Press Way – The company’s own manual on how to get them to publish your work!

Other new releases planned for this year that are generating interest are The Jewel Of Scotland – a detective thriller novel, and Vault of Terror – a full color, hardcover horror comics anthology.
