Movements Unlimited Performing Arts Company Inc. is a non-profit 501 3c Corporation. Their management team has over 60 years of operating experience in youth development. Movement Unlimited operates several programs in urban markets in the United States including New Orleans. Sitawi Kiongozi Jahi the President and his wife Cynthia Jasari Williams-Jahi the Founder are unique in that they themselves are former New Orleans residents and survivors of the hurricane Katrina disaster.

Katrina: A Whole Lotta Water will bring attention to a crisis that is still ongoing in the affected areas that the hurricane devastated. The focus of the multimedia event will surround the deep social issues around such a life-changing event and help those unaffected by its far-reaching destruction to come to an understanding of how important it is to feel the pain and suffering of others and count their blessings for what they have. Exploring the emotional, psychological, human rights and race issues through this play will hopefully keep them in the spotlight as this human drama continues to unfold in the gulf coast area. That is the hope and intent of its creators.
