London School of Business Leaping Language Barriers with Ingenuitor

December 13, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Ingenuitor, Inc, a LA based technology company, was included by the London School of Business as one of the most promising young start-ups in the Global Security field. Ingenuitor, located in Northridge, is developing a product called the Interphraser (picture attached). The Interphraser is a tool that helps people who do not speak the same language communicate.

Professionals communicating with people who do not speak the same language cannot do their job. Complications, problems, and lawsuits dramatically increase when language barriers exist.

Because the Interphraser will work with any language pair and with any set of phrases; it can help people anywhere. For example:
• A Mandarin-speaking police officer in China can use the Interphraser to arrest a French-speaking criminal.
• An American soldier can use the Interphraser at a border-crossing in Iraq with a Kurdish-speaking civilian.
• An English-speaking paramedic can use the Interphraser with a Spanish-speaking heart-attack patient.
Professionals in the field must be able to communicate quickly, easily, and accurately with people who speak differing languages—it’s literally a matter of life and death.

Ingenuitor hopes to release this technology in June of 2007. Greg Smart, Ingenuitor's CFO says that "Our Company is providing a service that makes me feel good, helping people communicate is the first step to improving global security."
