Cardiovascular Institute which
will be the only facility
between the New Jersey border
and Albany able to perform open
heart surgery.

Dr. Edward Lundy, head of
cardiac surgery at Good
Samaritan, has been assembling
an impressive team of cardiac
surgeons, perfusionists,
advanced nurse practitioners,
critical care nurses, and
support staff, all of whom will
contribute to making the Active
International Cardiovascular
Institute a national model and
one of the top quality centers
of its kind.
