Tamworth Back Pain Clinic secures the services of Acupuncture practitioner Maddy Sharp. Maddy joins the elite team at Atlas Pain Relief Centre in Lower Gungate in Tamworth town centre.

Maddy initially became interested in acupuncture after witnessing the improvement in her husband’s health after a course of treatment. He has severe rheumatoid arthritis and the acupuncture helped with his pain, his sleep and his general well being – it seemed to “lift his spirits”.

Maddy went on to gain her qualification as a Traditional Acupuncture Practitioner after successfully completing a three year, full time degree course at the College of Traditional Acupuncture, Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. She continues with her professional development through ongoing training; courses include Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Therapeutic Massage and most recently a workshop with Zita West who is renowned for her fertility work.

Acupuncture is often used by couples who undergo IVF treatments to enhance fertility. Acupuncture is painless and very effective for many hormonal and fertility conditions.

Many emotional conditions can benefit from regular acupuncture treatment, depression, stress and anxiety are all treated by Maddy Sharp at Atlas Pain Relief Centre.

During her time in practice Maddy has treated a wide variety of complaints and firmly believes that traditional acupuncture can be of benefit to everyone.
