Olde Towne Invests Nearly $4 Million For Road Improvements
Local Urban Development Commits Funds To Widen And Realign
Rock Quarry And New Hope Roads
RALEIGH, N.C. – Scott McCrary, president of Carolina Communities Development Group, has announced that Olde Towne has invested nearly $4 million for improvements to surrounding roads. Working with Raleigh city traffic planners and the N.C. Department of Transportation, Carolina Communities Development Group has committed funds to widen and realign Rock Quarry and New Hope roads at the entrance of Olde Towne, as well as improve traffic signals, establish turn lanes and widen the Walnut Creek bridge on New Hope Road. Olde Towne is a new development with 2,400 homesites and will feature a Rick Robbins-designed 18-hole golf course, and a robust retail component for shopping, professional services and entertainment.
“We want the residents and guests of Olde Towne to have a smooth, efficient entry and exit into the development,“ said McCrary. “To that end, we are making a considerable investment in money and time to work with area traffic planners and make appropriate changes to provide the best and safest access to roads adjoining Olde Towne.”
About Olde Towne:
