Comtech M2M (www.comtechm2m.com), a leading Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Solution Provider, will showcase its new Real-time Marketing Solutions at the joint Retail Business Show and Screen Expo on 31st January and 1st February 2007 at Earls Court 2, London, UK. Comtech will be demonstrating real-time remote managed marketing solutions on stand F73, which provide control and monitoring “from afar” to optimise marketing campaigns, ensure compliance and improve consumer awareness. Solutions to be exhibited include: -

- In-store wireless digital posters and electronic displays to influence consumer purchase decisions;
- Wirelessly networked Point of Purchase (POP) displays to aid monitoring of associated retail products and brands, and
- Central web-based management software and services to manage delivery of marketing information to consumers and monitoring of consumer response in the form of interactions with brands at the Point of Purchase.

Comtech’s wireless solutions have been designed for rapid deployment, which reduces dependencies on the Retailers IT network infrastructure. Comtech bring real-time communication innovation to Retailers, Brand Owners, Point of Purchase display manufacturers, Marketing Agencies and Retail Consultants.

“The Retail Business Show and Screen Expo is an ideal opportunity for us to showcase our new real-time marketing solutions that deliver benefits to both Retailers and Brand Owners,” says Barry Lowe, CEO of Comtech M2M. “Comtech recognises that marketing compliance is key to increasing sales and has specifically created a toolset that provides real-time control and monitoring from a central location to aid consistency across all remote retail locations. A recent Samsung Screen Survey highlighted almost 100,000 screens in use by British retailers. Establishing a wired network to update the content on the screens can be expensive but non the less necessary to avoid costly merchandising fees. At the Retail Business Show we will be launching a Wireless module and management software package which enables retailers to convert their existing “dumb” plasma screens to a fully managed network which can be centrally controlled through a secure internet site.”
