UK Online Fashion Retailer in surprise Pre-Christmas Clothing Sale
(PRLEAP.COM) Online fashion retailer Discoo leads the way in great value fast fashion this Christmas/New Year period after it reduced all items for sale on its website (www.Discoo.co.uk) by 20%, just days before Christmas.
The online fashion store, which offers same day delivery for net shoppers in London, saw a substantial increase in sales in the eight weeks leading up to Christmas, over 2005 sales for the same period.
Speaking of the Christmas rush Managing Director Ed Saper said “The news from our suppliers was that other retailers were having a pretty flat Christmas this year. However, at Discoo, we have been working flat out to manage the extra demand.”
Asked why this has led to a site wide sale he continued “Net Sales tend to peak around the 15th December - and the high street benefits from any last minute Christmas shoppers. Too many shoppers have been let down in previous years by late deliveries or purchasing non-existent stock from poorly organised online retailers and one man bedroom operations.”
The retailer works hard to generate customer trust in their delivery systems. But with a London same day delivery or pick up services available, Discoo has found many London based savvy time poor professionals have been ordering using their same day pick up or courier service.
Ed Saper, who set up Discoo in 2003 says “We’re finding there’s an increase in customers ordering last minute presents during their lunch hour and requesting them to be couriered to their place of work same day”.
As a special Christmas treat and to compete with the high street Discoo is offering 20% off all products, including its range of party dresses, perfect for girls who still don’t have their New Years Eve party outfit.
