Another Holiday Without My Kids

(PRLEAP.COM) MIAMI,FL - December 21, 2006 - Fathers-4-JusticeT U.S. (F4J) and the Parental Alienation Awareness Organization (PAAO) are teaming up to protest Florida’s family courts on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the St. Petersburg Judicial Building. "The holiday season is often unbearable for a parent and child who are denied contact with each other," says Don Delaney, F4J Florida Coordinator. PAAO co-founders Sarvy Emo and Robin Denison agree and cite that parental alienation tactics are a severe form of child abuse that is increasingly common in child custody matters. "Parental alienation involves the systematic brainwashing and manipulation of children with the sole purpose of destroying a loving and warm relationship they once shared with a parent," explains Denison.

Emo adds, "This behavior is extremely damaging to children and they are often left with life-long scars. We must recognize this problem and take aggressive steps to stop it."

F4J and PAAO welcome the public to join in protest to help increase awareness of parental alienation behaviors and the destruction caused to Florida’s children. Family courts perpetuate and often promote this cruel form of child abuse by awarding one parent sole custody of a child thereby reducing the non-custodial parent to a mere visitor.

F4J is a 501(c) (3) non-profit volunteer army of mothers, fathers, grandparents, and others dedicated to fighting for truth, justice and equality in family law.
