TWO Fur ONE Cat & Kitten Adoption Event announced by Good Mews No-kill Cage Free Shelter

(MARIETTA GA) Good news for kitty lovers in the metro-Atlanta area. Good Mews Animal Foundation, non-profit, cage-free, no-kill shelter for cats, is offering another fantastic deal on all its cats and kittens from now through January 31, 2007

“With the holidays in full swing and the New Year just around the corner, our kitties have persuaded us that now is the “purrrrfect” time for them to be adopted into their forever home,” Adoption Co-Chair Karen Redlew said. “The kitties have even premiered a brand new website (www.goodmews.org) to showcase their special qualities so it seemed only fitting that we offer TWO cats or kittens “fur” ONE adoption fee to help get them started off on the right paw!”

Shelters across the metro-Atlanta area are feeling the effects of overcrowding. Good Mews does not euthanize its cats and kittens in order to make space for new animals. In order to let more in, adoptions must occur, and what better way to start off the New Year than with a couple of new feline friends

The shelter has approximately 90 cats and kittens ready for adoption. We even have some pairs already matched up, or you can create your own special pair from any of our kitties. So, from December 16th, 2006 through January 31, 2007, the shelter will adopt a pair of kitties to qualified adopters for a fee of only $110. This includes all age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, testing, micro chipping, registration and spay/neuter!

People wishing to adopt from Good Mews may visit the shelter during our regular adoption hours, Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the first and third Sundays each month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. .
