Handmade Handbag Company, Siam Sensibilities, to Attend F.A.M.E Trade Show Javits Center NYC January 7-9, 2007
(
PRLEAP.COM) Co-founders Andy Kearney and Rex Freiberger of Siam Sensibilities are unveiling their line of
handmade handbags and accessories at the F.A.M.E Trade Show, the Javits Center, in NYC January 7-9, 2007.
Siam Sensibilities, founded in 2005, is an online fashion retailer that imports handmade handbags, accessories and home accents from Southeast Asia. The company donates a portion of all sales to foster education in the villages where the handbags and accessories are produced.
The handbags that Siam Sensibilities is introducing range from totes and shoulder bags to clutches. The designs are colorful and funky but also urbane and elegant, combining Southeast Asian flair with Western design. And aside from their unique style, the handmade bags are produced from natural materials such as rattan, bamboo, shells, and silk, giving them an exotic look.
Siam Sensibilities was founded when co-owners Andy and Rex, having lived in Thailand for two years, discovered the art and craftsmanship of the Thai people. They realized that Thailand’s artisans produce some of the finest and most unique handbags and accessories in the world, but that most Americans hadn’t been exposed to this craft.
