Strive For More Music Showcase To Debut
(PRLEAP.COM) Music industry veteran and president of Strive Management, Kerry Fiero, will premiere the Strive For More Music Showcase, a presentation of the best up-and-coming music artists in the San Francisco Bay Area, on January 26th, 2007 at Maxwell’s Lounge in Oakland.
The first showcase will spotlight four R&B vocalists, and will feature a house band comprised of top musicians that will be led by Grammy nominated producer (Pussy Cat Dolls) and musical director, Cori Jacobs, who has MD’d for George Clinton and The Temptations.
The Strive For More Music Showcase will be held quarterly and is designed to capture the elegance and showmanship of a modern day Cotton Club while functioning as a magnet to fans of live music. The first showcase features R&B vocalists while future showcases will include talent from different genres.
Co-produced by Gian Fiero, a recognized authority on commercial music and Independent A&R Specialist who has produced the now defunct Oaktown Apollo Talent Show, the Strive For More Music Showcase promises to bridge the gap between the music community and industry professionals who are seeking filtered introductions to the elite musical performers of tomorrow.
