Join Dr. Taffy Wagner and Ms. Bettye Jamerson, hosts of the Literary Corner podcast, on Monday January 8, 2007 when they go inside the male mind to learn about the challenges men face to maintain mental monogamy within marriage.

When non-fiction author Wade Young got married ten years ago he may have been wearing a wedding band, but his brain sure wasn’t. There came a point in his marriage when he realized the battle of his wandering eye was a war waged in the mind. He made a conscious choice to not see other women as sexual objects so he could maintain both physical and mental fidelity in his marriage. His wife encouraged him to share his journey with others and through that encouragement the concept for his book was birthed: ‘My Brain Doesn’t Cheat on my Wife’.

Wade leads Dr. Taffy and Bettye into the mind of a man for an eye-opening conversation about mental fidelity from a male perspective. Later in the hour, Bettye and Dr. Taffy continue the discussion of mental fidelity in marriage and discuss this challenge that many women face in this area too. “This is a real issue in marriage that no one seems to want to address”, comments Dr. Taffy, “we were so glad that Mr. Young decided to broach this relevant marital topic with such candor and honesty.”

“Men and women both struggle with maintaining mental monogamy. Some don’t even see the harm in having a roaming eye as long as they are simply looking and not touching,” says Jamerson. She concludes: “Our listening audience will not want to miss this show!”

Dr. Taffy Wagner and Ms. Bettye Jamerson are published authors and public speakers. The have a wealth of experience in the publishing and promotion arena.
