U.S. Risk Insurance Group, Inc., Deploys Skywire Software’s Policyware
(PRLEAP.COM) Skywire Software announced U.S. Risk Insurance Group, Inc., one of the nation’s largest managing general agencies (MGA) and surplus lines wholesalers, has implemented the Policyware agency management system. The Dallas, Texas-based company is using the Web-based system to standardize business processes and increase productivity at its headquarters and nine branch offices throughout the United States.
“Policyware not only enables U.S. Risk to fully manage our business today, but it can support our company’s needs and continued growth well into the future,” said Mac Wesson, president of U.S. Risk Insurance Group. “By aligning our operations on a centralized system instead of using multiple systems for correspondence, quoting, binding, and billing, we have not only improved operational efficiencies, but gained insight into overall business performance. This has enhanced our servicing abilities and helped to reduce exposure to Errors & Omissions.”
Skywire Software collaborated with U.S. Risk to create Policyware specifically to support the unique business, connectivity and integration requirements of wholesale MGAs and excess and surplus (E&S) brokers. The agency management system is highly scalable enabling MGAs, like U.S. Risk, to add additional users, branches and markets as their business grows.
Because Policyware is Web-based, U.S. Risk’s employees, regardless of location, can open and track critical business information securely online. This not only increases productivity and reduces errors, but also enhances their abilities to better serve customers.
U.S. Risk benefits from Policyware’s integration with Microsoft Office business productivity applications, including Word and Outlook, and Microsoft Dynamics GP financial management software, as well as Skywire Software’s expertise as a Microsoft-certified partner. The system also can be easily integrated with leading insurance software, such as document imaging and rating systems.
“Skywire Software is focused on providing innovative software and services that enables MGAs and brokers to increase operational efficiencies, enhance customer service, and succeed in today’s highly competitive environment,” said Patrick Brandt, founder and CEO of Skywire Software. “We are pleased that U.S. Risk is realizing a return on its technology investment in Policyware, and look forward to helping the company continue to achieve its business and technology goals.”
Policyware is built from the ground up on Microsoft .NET technology, designed with maximum scalability and flexibility. The agency management system is easy-to-use and easy-to-maintain, and also allows for enhanced data knowledge and access with robust reporting features.
