PugSpeak Collaborates with Green Mountain Pug Rescue For Silent Auction

January 11, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Green Mountain Pug Rescue and PugSpeak, LLC collaborate for the rescue's upcoming silent auction beginning Jan. 15, 2007. The auction will run until Jan. 30.

PugSpeak, LLC will be making available an original Joanne Knauf pug painting titled "Pugzelle." Proceeds from that sale will be donated to Green Mountain Pug Rescue, located in Perkinsville, VT.

Contemporary artist Joanne Knauf, passed away in March 2006. Knauf lived in Pretoria, South Africa and while she painted scenes and subjects indigenous to her homeland, Knauf's real passion was pugs and her pug art . Knauf was particularly inspired by her own pugs - Pugzelle, Biscuit, and Pablo Pugasso. This passion was reflected in over 65 pug paintings.

It's important to know that Knauf donated her pug art to many pug rescues over the years including southeastern rescues after the Katrina disaster. She believed in the pug cause and we want to continue that effort in her memory.
