Adaptive Lighting & Controls Tech Rep Program Expands to Central California

(PRLEAP.COM) Adaptive Lighting & Controls, LLC today announced the signing of Rich McCoy as its newest technical representative in Central California. In his new role, McCoy will attend local client meetings, propose and develop presentations and lead construction management on all Adaptive projects in Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Kern.

“I was recently contracted to work on a project designed and specified by Adaptive Lighting and Controls,” McCoy said. “It quickly became clear to me that all my project owners would benefit from the detailed plans, and at the same time, save money. The plan not only provided excellent lighting design, but also accurately provided necessary information for architects, owners and subcontractors to implement the work without any questions. Needless to say, when I was offered an opportunity to be a part of the team at Adaptive Lighting and Controls, I quickly responded.”

McCoy brings more than 15 years of experience as an electrician and general contractor to Adaptive. After obtaining his state Contractor’s license in California, he started McCoy Electric, which he incorporated in 1999 becoming the company’s president. McCoy is a member of the Santa Barbara Contractors’ Association and recipient of several awards for safety. He has also received the prestigious Code of Conduct award from the Building Industry Association of Southern California.

When he is not working McCoy resides in Solvang, California with his wife and children, and participates in numerous sporting and outdoor activities including camping, skiing and motorcycling.
