Screenwriter's Workshop in Portland: Make 2007 the year you finish your screenplay

Beginning March 1, 2007 writer Sue Ann Colvin, MFA will hold a series of workshops for screenwriters. Designed to guide the screenwriter through the revision process, the workshops are a unique blend of:

* draft readings
* critique
* screenplay craft
* time management strategies.

Workshops meet every other Thursday night through March, April and early May.

This workshop series will provide members with the tools and support needed to polish and complete a well-structured screenplay. All workshop participants must have:

* a screenplay in progress
* ability to submit writing samples to apply
* maintain a commitment to weekly revision, meetings and email communication.

E-mail capability is essential to the process; participants must have access to reliable e-mail and printing.

The nine session series will culminate with completion of a feature length screenplay.

Ms. Colvin earned her MFA in Goddard College's Creative Writing program at Port Townsend, Wa. She is the author of a full length screenplay, A Striking Resemblance. She has studied screenwriting with several talented authors, including, the infamous, Robert McKee, author of Story.
