MV Transportation, Inc. makes key promotions to strengthen company’s East Coast operations

Fairfield, California —- MV Transportation, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of specialized transportation for the disabled and elderly, recently announced the promotions of several company managers. The promotions are designed to strengthen the company’s operations support throughout the East Coast.

Ed Overn has accepted the position of Vice President, Operations Support for the East Region. In this role Ed will oversee Maintenance, Safety, Labor Relations and Operations Support functions in the East. Ed joined MV in May 2005 as Director of Operations. By July, 2005, Ed was promoted to Regional Vice President of MV’s Lower Midwest Region. “Ed has played a key role in MV’s many successes throughout this region, and I am sure he will continue to make positive contributions to the company,” said Kirk Wilkie, President of MV’s East Region.

Brian Hastings, Director of Operations for the Lower Midwest Region, has been promoted to Regional Vice President, Operations, for the Northeast Region. In this role, Brian will be responsible for all aspects of division operations in Philadelphia, Elizabeth, NJ, and Springfield, MA. Brian has been with MV since July 2004 and “has delivered quality results as both General Manager of our Philadelphia division and as Director of Operations,” Wilkie said.

Bodie Lyon, Director of Operations for the Upper Midwest Region, has been promoted to Regional Vice President, Operations, for the Lower Midwest Region. Bodie will transition into this role over the next few weeks after completing an interim assignment at our Baltimore division. Bodie joined MV in October 2005 and “has done an outstanding job supporting our Midwest Region divisions,” Wilkie said.
