Popular magazine The Music Box has released the ranking of its readers' favorites for 2006. Topping the list is John Mayer's Continuum, which also ranked #1 on the publication's list of top albums for the fourth quarter. Trailing the effort were Van Morrison's Pay the Devil, T Bone Burnett's The True False Identity, and the self-titled debut by Norah Jones' side-project The Little Willies. Said Music Box founder John Metzger, "Our year-end compilation is always fascinating to me. While some albums enjoy a lot of success during the quarter in which they are released, our compilation of the statistics for the full year highlights which albums gained the most traction and had the most durability." These rankings are compiled from sales and traffic statistics through The Music Box's web site.
