PRLEAP.COM) ALEXANDRIA, VA – Forum One Communications today announced their 2007 Online Community event series. The series is focused on helping organizations understand and leverage the value of their online communities. In addition to 12 exclusive events spanning both coasts, an online survey series will provide valuable insight into current trends and best practices.
The sixth annual Online Community Summit will be held in Sonoma, California, Oct. 4 and 5, 2007. This invitation-based event brings together an outstanding group of online community executives, with past participants representing industry (Amazon.com, AOL, Apple, Cisco, Microsoft, Yahoo, others); leading online community groups (Salon.com, MEETUP, Motley Fool); non-commercial organizations (World Bank, PBS, American Academy of Pediatrics); media (BBC, Univision); philanthropy (Gates Foundation, Packard Foundation, Skoll Foundation, Omidyar Network) and many others.
The Second Annual Online Community Camp will be held in San Francisco in June 2007. The Online Community Camp is a gathering of online community practitioners — managers, developers, business people, tools providers, and investors — to discuss experience and strategies in the development and growth of online communities.
The Online Community Business Forum will be held May 3 and 4, 2007 in Sonoma, California. The Business Forum is an invitation-only event solely focused online community business models and tactics: subscriptions, advertising, marketing issues, support communities, defining ROI, and other important topics.
The Online Community Roundtable Series will continue to be hosted throughout 2007 by Bill Johnston of Forum One. This popular, invitation-based quarterly gathering is held in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The Online Community Research Series will return in early February 2007.
