Amptronix Launches Linux Mobile DVR 354 with GPS, GPRS, Motion detection and Trigger functions, MPEG-4 high resolution for Military, Aviation, Law Enforcement, and Transportation

Walnut, California, January 2007 – Continuing the popularity of Amptronix Mobile DVR-310 SERIES, Amptronix has recently launched Mobile DVR-354 SERIES specially designed to meet high-end security applications in law enforcement, aviation, military and public transportations. Linux-embedded DVR-354 SERIES produces MPEG4 high resolution video at 30 fps and offers the most complete Alarm systems in its kinds, including triggered detected alarm system, motion detected alarm system, video loss detection and Pre/Post alarm system. Add-on functions of GPRS, GPRMC and SMS functions enable DVR-354 SERIES to send image, message and precise location to PC or Cell Phone in response to Alarm detected systems.

Mobile DVR-354 SERIES supports up to 4 channels with multiple recording modes, which include continuous, time-lapse, schedule, interval and triggered alarm recording. Three levels of video quality setting, from normal to best, and five levels of frame per second setting up to 30fps, significantly increase storage flexibility and efficiency. Video can be stored either on HHD or Compact Flash Card and easily backed up with CF or USB. Powerful Alarm systems such as up to 6 triggered detected alarms, one-to-multi channels motion detections, as well as video loss detection allow user to set up alarm systems corresponding to particular security needs. Each alarm system has selectable Pre/Post Alarm, GPRS, GPS GPRMC and SMS functions in response to alarm detections to prevent unlawful interference and provide offline tracking. Pre/Post alarm enables it to automatically record video before and after alarms. GPRS setup transmits video and GPS data to PC for offline tracking. SMS function also makes possible sending text message to a list of mobile phone whenever alarm is triggered. GPRMC provides user precise location information such as latitude, longitude and speed. To increase remote access capability, DVR-354 SERIES has Standard 10/100 BaseT Ethernet Port ready for networking. It is also engineered to withstand heavy vibration up to 2.7Grms for protecting hard disk and consume the lowest power in its kind. It is compact and easy for installation. Remote control and straightforward interface also makes it the most user friendly surveillance device.
