JANUARY 23, 2007, St. Louis, Missouri …The law firm of Gallop, Johnson & Neuman announced that attorneys Jennifer R. Byrne, Angela N. Loehr and Francis X. Butch Miller have been elected partners of the firm. Jennifer R. Byrne, who earned a J.D. degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Saint Louis University School of Law, concentrates her practice in general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities and related matters. She has worked on a wide range of transactions, including stock and asset sales and purchases, mergers, joint ventures and strategic alliances. Ms. Byrne also has extensive experience drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements, including agreements for the manufacturing, supply and distribution of consumer and industrial products, as well as employment, consulting, licensing, confidentiality and non-compete agreements. Ms. Byrne has represented publicly and privately held companies in a number of industries, including manufacturing, biotechnology, telecommunications, professional services, consumer goods and insurance. Ms. Byrne also earned a B.S.B.A. degree, Summa Cum Laude, from St. Louis University, and she is a Certified Public Accountant.

Angela N. Loehr, who earned a J.D. degree, Cum Laude, from Washburn University School of Law, represents manufacturers in product liability actions throughout the U.S., medical professionals in malpractice actions, builders in construction dispute matters, and a myriad of businesses in commercial disputes. She has tried a variety of cases in federal and state courts involving fire origin and cause analysis, wrongful death, property damage, and insurance coverage disputes. Ms. Loehr has argued matters before the Missouri and Kansas Courts of Appeal and published articles on mold, the statutory employment defense, the independent contractor defense and computer crime issues. She frequently makes presentations on mold liability and other industry-related topics. Ms. Loehr also earned a B.S. degree, Cum Laude, from Central Missouri State University.

Francis X. Butch Miller, who earned a J.D. degree, Cum Laude, from Saint Louis University School of Law, represents clients in areas of Real Estate Law and Corporate Law. His practice includes advising developers, purchasers and sellers in the acquisition, development, construction and financing of medical, office, retail and residential properties. He represents clients in title and survey disputes, and assists with purchase and sale contracts, seller take-back financing, 1031 exchanges, commercial leasing and other means of property disposition, as well as property tax valuation and exemption matters. Mr. Miller also advises clients in matters of real estate finance, such as construction loans, mini-perm loans and permanent financing, and assists clients seeking to use innovative development tools such as Transportation Development Districts (TDDs), Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and urban redevelopment corporations. He advises subdivision trustees and associations in matters involving the enforcement, interpretation and revision of subdivision indentures, and he also handles a variety of other real estate issues. In addition, he assists clients with general contract law, formation of limited liability companies and other general business matters. Mr. Miller served as Associate Editor of the St. Louis University Public Law Review, and also earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
