HOUSTON - W. Mark Lanier, founder of The Lanier Law Firm with offices in Houston and New York, has earned a spot among the Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiffs’ Lawyers in America. This marks the second time Mr. Lanier has been honored by the publication, which selected him as one of the 500 Leading Lawyers in America last year.

Lawdragon is a quarterly print and online publication dedicated to the legal profession. The 500 Leading Plaintiffs’ Lawyers in America will be featured in the Winter 2007 print edition, and is available online at www.lawdragon.com.

Less than one-tenth of one percent of all lawyers in the U.S. earned a spot among top plaintiffs’ attorneys. To select this prestigious group, Lawdragon’s editorial staff conducted extensive research and phoned thousands of legal professionals to solicit their nominations for the country’s top plaintiffs’ counsel.

Mr. Lanier adds this honor to an impressive list of recent accolades. In 2006, he was named one of the country’s 100 Most Influential Lawyers and one of 10 Winning Trial Lawyers in the nation by The National Law Journal. Additionally, he was honored in December 2005 as the Impact Player of the Year in Texas Lawyer newspaper. Texas Monthly magazine also has named him a Texas Super Lawyer each of the past four years.

With offices in Houston and New York, The Lanier Law Firm is committed to addressing client concerns with effective and often untraditional solutions. The firm is composed of outstanding trial attorneys with decades of experience handling cases involving pharmaceutical liability, asbestos exposure, business fraud, serious personal injuries, product liability, and toxic exposure.
