Univenture Announces Two Promotions at Corporate Headquarters

Corporate Expansion Leads to New Responsibilities for Jim Geers and Johanna Espinosa


Marysville, OH — Univenture, Inc., the award winning inventor and manufacturer of a wide array of environmentally sustainable multimedia packaging solutions and unique document and CD/DVD media storage and mailing products, announced the promotions of Jim Geers and Johanna Espinosa. Geers has been promoted to Director of Sales and Espinosa to Marketing Director, effective immediately.

“Jim and Johanna have contributed in many ways to Univenture’s achievements,” said Michele Cole, President. “They are committed to Univenture’s success, to the Univenture team and Univenture’s customers,” added Cole.

Geers joined Univenture eight years ago. He was promoted from his position of Eastern Regional Sales Manager and prior to that was a Senior Sales Representative. During his time with Univenture, Geers has been conducive to the success of a number of projects and to the development of Bind-In sleeves for Univenture’s printer, bindery and publishing customers. Prior to joining Univenture, Geers held sales positions with manufacturers of specialty vinyl products and Ashland Chemical Company. Geers has a Bachelors of Science from Bowling Green State University.

Espinosa joined Univenture the beginning of 2005. She was previously Marketing Manager, responsible for managing and designing Univenture’s marketing campaigns. In 2006, Espinosa acted as Univenture’s representative in joining Gov. Bob Taft to travel to the Ohio Department of Development's conference in Mexico to promote investments with the state. Prior to joining Univenture, Espinosa was the web master for the Center for Latin American Studies at The Ohio State University, has illustrated children’s books and was a design consultant for the Nicaraguan Institute for Small and Medium Size Industries. Espinosa is also a painter and has had both national and international exhibitions. She has a Masters in Fine Arts from The Ohio State University and, while doing graduate work, was a Graduate Teaching Associate for the Visual Thinking and Problem Solving course.
