Master Painter Charles White to Teach Landscape Painting Class at Walnut Creek's The Frame Shop Feb 22-24
(PRLEAP.COM) Walnut Creek, Calif – The Frame Shop & Gallery in Walnut Creek has announced a 3-day painting class for novices to experts with renowned master painter of Mt. Diablo, Charles White. The classes will take place February 22, 23 and 24 from 10AM to 4PM. Cost for the 3-day program is $350. The public is invited to a special artist’s reception at The Frame Shop & Gallery on February 24 from 4PM to 7PM. The Frame Shop is located 1661 Botelho Drive, #100.
Charles White will teach the 3-day master painting class, helping all levels of painting students to create one, or if a student is more experienced and faster, two, oil landscapes. Students will need to bring their own supplies as well as any landscape photos from which to draw inspiration. Easels will be provided.
“It is amazing how well painting students can do in just three days with the instruction and supervision of a painter as fine as Charles White,” explains D’Ann Hayes, owner of The Frame Shop. “Charles does a remarkable job of working with the students at their own level of ability and the results are very satisfying.”
Charles White, a master painter of Mt. Diablo landscapes, has been featured as one of America’s favorite artists by Hadley House Publishing. He has created and sold well over 8000 originals and prints in the last 15 years. A resident of Castro Valley, White has painted countless variations of the local landscapes, focusing on the beauty and nature of Mt. Diablo.
In between his own painting, one-man shows and exhibitions, White finds time to conduct workshops and classes in oils and acrylics to share his experience and techniques with other artists.
