Three Squared Goes To The Extreme With HomeLife Communities

PRLEAP.COM) Atlanta-based Interactive Marketing and Media Agency, three squared, Inc, announced today that they will be creating a Behind the Scenes Documentary DVD for HomeLife Communities, the selected home builder of this week’s ABC Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
HomeLife Communities selected three squared, Inc, to create a comprehensive account of the home build utilizing still photography and video footage captured during the filming of the show which unveils the day-to-day challenges and obstacles faced by literally thousands of contractors and volunteers. three squared was also selected to create a :30 Commercial spot which aired in selected national markets during the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition program January 21, 2007. From the complete demolition of the old home, to the completion of the new Riggins family dream home in Raleigh, NC, the documentary conveys the magnitude of the overall endeavor by the HomeLife team and the importance of coming together as a community.
"Building a new home for the Riggins family in just 94 hours was a daunting task, and since the ABC-TV show is only 42 minutes long, we wanted to make sure we documented the selfless donations of time and materials made by our trade partners," Darren Drevik, director of marketing U.S. for HomeLife Communities said. Over a 3-week period, three squared, in conjunction with the HomeLife team, reviewed over 3,000 photos and 30 hours of footage captured during the 7 days of filming the show. Main content was then carefully selected to help tell this compelling story of the Riggins family and how HomeLife Communities constructed a new home in only one week. The documentary plays out into a 45 minute program.
Overall, the menu driven DVD is comprised of the Behind The Scenes program including Chapter selections along with a Special Features menu option containing the 30 second broadcast commercial which aired during the show, eight Slide Shows with music accompaniment narrating the day to day occurrences - including a special Before and After segment, a Timelapse account from demolition to completion of the build, and a mid-build Guided Tour hosted by Drevik.
HomeLife Communities will be distributing the DVD to those participants and volunteers not officially recognized within the show in appreciation for all of their dedication and hard work.
