Laidlaw Transit Services, Inc. retains work in Burlington County, NJ

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Laidlaw Transit Services, Inc. was recently awarded a new two-year, $2 million contract to provide paratransit services for the County of Burlington, NJ. The contract includes an additional option year. Laidlaw has operated the service since 1992, and will continue to provide transportation services to seniors and disabled persons in the County of Burlington.

Laidlaw’s proposal includes several new enhancements to the operation, including a proposed additional road supervisor and the addition of the DriveCam system for the BCTS fleet. Several new buses will be added during the term of the contract. Laidlaw’s proposal also included a new bus wash system.
