Qedis Appoints Paul Myers to Develop Public Sector and Financial Services Practice

London: Qedis, a UK-based management consultancy focused on increasing the value that IT delivers to the business, has appointed Paul Myers as Director. Paul will play an instrumental role in Qedis’ expansion into the financial services sector and developing the consultancy’s thriving public sector practice.

Paul brings over 16 years consultancy experience to Qedis and has particular expertise in building and managing high performance teams and growing consultancy business. He will leverage these skills to help develop sector-specific services for IT directors in local government and finance organisations, and build specialist teams to deliver the new offerings.

Paul joins Qedis from IT services company Unisys, where he held the position of Partner in the public sector division. Paul was responsible for managing the division’s business in local and central government including the delivery of consultancy and technical services to clients such as the Department for Work and Pensions, Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Office of Government Commerce, as well as a number of local authorities. Under his direction, the division doubled in size and delivered quarter on quarter growth for the three years to 2006.

Prior to working at Unisys, Paul held the position of Director at Deloitte, where he had worked from 1991 to 2003 and specialised in consultancy for the financial services and public sectors.
